The 19th Beijing International Auto Show opened in a grand celebratory atmosphere. On the occasion of its third anniversary, OMODA & JAECOO announced a landmark achievement: as of April 2026, cumulative global sales surpassed 1 million units, setting the fastest million-unit record ever achieved by a young automotive brand in global industry history.
Since their global debut in 2023, OMODA & JAECOO maintained rapid and consistent growth, doubling sales year-on-year for three consecutive years, with monthly sales exceeding 60,000 units in March 2026 alone. While traditional automotive brands typically took more than a decade to reach one million units sold, OMODA & JAECOO accomplished this milestone in just three years, cementing their position as record-breaking leaders in the global automotive industry.

JAECOO 7 Topped UK Charts

Born global, OMODA & JAECOO led the industry in global expansion efficiency. In just three years, the brand entered 69 key markets worldwide, including 18 European Union markets, 15 right-hand drive markets, and 36 left-hand drive markets, supported by a network of 1,364 dealerships. On average, a new market was opened every 16 days, and a new showroom opened somewhere in the world every single day. In Spain, a joint survey conducted by PwC Spain and Faconauto rated OMODA & JAECOO at 9.9 points, making them the most valued brand among dealers, a clear testament to the trust earned from global partners.
Europe emerged as the core engine of the brands' growth, accounting for 41.5% of total global sales, with a 246% year-on-year increase recorded in March 2026. In the UK, OMODA & JAECOO ranked sixth in brand sales with a 4.7% market share, achieving 17,951 units sold in a single month. JAECOO 7 topped the model sales charts and was praised by international media as "Europe's most successful Chinese model, with no close competitor." In Spain and Italy, monthly sales each surpassed 3,000 units, with Italy recording triple-digit month-on-month growth. In Poland, monthly sales exceeded 2,000 units. The brand not only entered the European market but firmly established its presence and secured a leading position within it.

SHS-P delivered high power output, ultra-low energy consumption, and an exceptionally long combined range; while SHS-H combined traditional HEV efficiency with the smooth quietness of a pure electric drive, truly delivering "one car, two vibes."
Every electrified model from OMODA & JAECOO proved to be a standout product, reinforcing confidence in their technology direction. JAECOO 7 SHS-P established itself as the global PHEV benchmark; OMODA 5 SHS-H surpassed 400,000 units in cumulative global sales, with its HEV version entering the Top 3 in multiple core markets; JAECOO 5 EV achieved 20,000 monthly sales within just nine months of launch and ranked No.1 in EV sales across multiple markets including Indonesia and Thailand.

From One Million to One Million Annually

One million units sold was not the end, it marked a new starting point. OMODA & JAECOO officially set their next phase target: achieving annual sales of 1 million units by 2027, completing the leap from cumulative million to annual million, and once again challenging the world's fastest growth record. To achieve this, the brand committed to deepening its dual-brand strategy. OMODA targeted the growing LOHAS lifestyle segment with its Crossover series, while JAECOO catered to the ambitions of new-generation explorers with its refined off-road lineup. By 2027, both brands aimed to have completed their respective product matrices, offering a precisely matched model for every passion and lifestyle.

At the same time, OMODA & JAECOO accelerated the deployment of their intelligent technologies. In the second half of 2026, models equipped with VPD (Valet Parking Driver) intelligent parking functions were officially launched.
