These options combine innovation and everyday practicality with the durability, comfort, and quality that have defined Nissan pickups for more than 90 years.
Multiple Powertrain Options
The pickup is available with a range of powertrain options, including 1.5 liter and 2.0 liter plug-in hybrid systems, as well as internal combustion engines powered by petrol or diesel, depending on market requirements.
In the Middle East, the Navara Pro will be offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 244 hp and 400 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 2.3-liter turbocharged diesel engine will also be available, producing 141 hp and 400 Nm of torque, with a choice of a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
More Than 90 Years of Heritage
The Navara Pro combines practical technologies with everyday comfort. Its plug-in hybrid version can supply power to external devices and equipment using the pickup’s battery, offering greater versatility for different applications. The pickup also features user-friendly technologies designed to enhance comfort and meet the demands of everyday life and work.
Nissan draws on more than 90 years of experience in the pickup segment, dating back to the introduction of the Type 13 truck in 1934. Since then, the company has sold more than 15 million pickups across over 140 markets worldwide. The Navara Pro continues this legacy by leveraging global expertise and strategic partnerships to develop products that respond to evolving customer needs.
Navara Pro Leverages Nissan’s Manufacturing Expertise
Nissan has developed the pickup by drawing on its global engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities, while benefiting from China's growing role in vehicle innovation and the development of products for domestic and international markets.
Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co. Ltd., Nissan’s joint venture in China, is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing the pickup in accordance with Nissan’s quality and production standards. The model is the first Nissan vehicle designed, developed, and manufactured in China for global export.
Nissan Navara Pro Launch Timeline
Sales of the light-duty pickup are scheduled to begin in Mexico in October 2026, making it the first market outside China to receive the model and building on Nissan’s strong position in the Mexican market. The move also reinforces China’s role as an innovation and export hub for the company, with sales set to expand to other Latin American markets by the end of 2026.
The pickup is expected to launch in the Middle East and the Philippines in 2026 under the Navara Pro name, before arriving in Australia and New Zealand in 2027, marking its expansion into right hand drive markets.
