Nissan X-Trail 2027 Launches in KSA with New Adventure-Ready Features

Nissan Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of the all-new 2027 Nissan X-Trail in the Kingdom, featuring an updated exterior design and a range of technologies designed to make everyday driving more convenient. Also, the launch marks the regional debut of the off-road-oriented "Rock Creek" trim, alongside the introduction of the second generation NissanConnect connected-car services for the first time in the X-Trail model.

Building on more than 25 years of heritage, trust, and Japanese engineering excellence, the 2027 X-Trail combines modern styling, enhanced capabilities, and smart technologies. Also, it offers the flexibility to accommodate different family needs, with seating configurations for five or seven passengers, alongside high-comfort and everyday practical features.

The Nissan X-Trail 2027 comes with a range of exterior and interior updates, complemented by enhanced smart technologies and connected services. Also, the lineup becomes more diverse with the addition of the new "Rock Creek" trim, which expands the model's appeal with a bolder design and features tailored for outdoor activities, while retaining the flexibility and practicality families need for everyday journeys.

Bolder Exterior & Refined Interior

A Fresh Look for the 2027 Nissan X-Trail

The most notable updates to the 2027 X-Trail can be seen in its exterior design. The SUV features redesigned front and rear bumpers, a refreshed V-Motion grille, updated LED headlights, and rear lights with integrated turn signals. The look is completed by stylish 17-, 18-, and 19-inch wheels.

A wide range of exterior paint options also gives customers greater freedom to personalize their vehicles. Nissan offers approximately 13 color choices, including eight single-tone and five two-tone options with a premium black roof. New additions to the palette include Pearl White, Dark Blue, and Dark Beige.

Inside the cabin, the updates include refined materials and finishes, a selection of premium quilted leather seats, and LED ambient lighting that adds a modern atmosphere to the interior.

Rock Creek: New Trim for Adventure Enthusiasts

The "Rock Creek" trim joins the X-Trail lineup with its own distinctive design identity, making its first appearance in the Middle East. Its exclusive exterior styling is highlighted by a unique front fascia and grille, dark 18-inch wheels, exclusive badges, black accents, and Volcano Red details.

The distinctive design extends into the cabin, which features seats upholstered in water- and stain-resistant PU2.0 material, complemented by orange stitching and exclusive interior details. These features are designed for families seeking a practical vehicle that meets their everyday needs while remaining ready for outdoor trips and adventures.

Smart Connectivity and Remote Vehicle Acces

A Driver-Focused Interior with Convenient Controls

One of the key technological additions to the X-Trail is NissanConnect (CCS 2.0), which allows drivers to remotely control several vehicle functions and monitor its status through the MyNISSAN app. These features include:

  • Remote engine start
  • Remote climate control to prepare the cabin before setting off
  • Remote door locking and unlocking
  • Checking the vehicle's location and status
  • Monitoring vehicle information, including oil levels, tire pressure, and battery status
  • Alerts that provide added convenience and peace of mind, including speed and geofence notifications

On the digital technology front, the cabin features two 12.3-inch displays, with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a head-up display, a frameless smart rearview mirror, and a Bose sound system with 10 speakers.

Comprehensive Safety and Driver Assistance Systems

The 2027 Nissan X-Trail supports the driving experience with a range of active safety features under the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, including:

  • Intelligent Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Blind Spot Warning and Blind Spot Intervention
  • Predictive Forward Collision Warning
  • High Beam Assist
  • Driver Attention Alert
  • Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention

The ProPILOT system is among the X-Trail's key driver assistance technologies. Designed to make highway driving easier, particularly during long journeys and in heavy traffic, it assists with steering, acceleration, and braking. It also helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane and adjusts its speed according to the following distance selected by the driver. However, drivers must remain attentive to the road and keep their hands on the steering wheel at all times.

To enhance visibility around the vehicle, the X-Trail is also equipped with a 3D Around View Monitor, which includes Moving Object Detection and an Invisible Hood View feature that displays the area beneath the front of the vehicle. These technologies help drivers identify obstacles and better judge distances, particularly when parking, maneuvering in tight spaces, or driving on unpaved roads.

Spacious and Practical Interior

The 2027 Nissan X-Trail offers a choice of five- or seven-seat configurations. Measuring 4,690 mm in overall length, it provides 960 mm of front legroom and 1,095 mm of rear legroom. Nissan's front Zero Gravity seats further enhance comfort, with memory settings available depending on the trim.

The EZ FLEX seating system makes access to the third row easier by allowing the second-row seats to slide forward and their backrests to tilt. The rear doors also open up to 85 degrees, making it easier for passengers to get in and out, as well as to install child seats.

Flexibility extends beyond the seating arrangement to the rear cargo area, which offers up to 585 liters of storage space when the third-row seats are folded. The vehicle is also equipped with a hands-free power tailgate and a Divide-N-Hide cargo system that provides six different configurations for organizing luggage. Additional cabin features include:

  • Tri-zone automatic climate control
  • Rear door sunshades
  • Panoramic sunroof

Multiple Drivetrain Options

The 2027 Nissan X-Trail is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 181 hp and 244 Nm of torque. It is paired with an XTRONIC CVT transmission featuring paddle shifters for manual gear selection. The new model delivers fuel efficiency of up to 16.1 km/L.

The X-Trail is available with two drivetrain options: front-wheel drive and Intelligent 4WD. Models equipped with the all-wheel-drive system also offer five driving modes: Standard, Eco, Sport, Snow, and Off-Road.

To further support its off-road capabilities, the vehicle offers 273 mm of ground clearance, along with Hill Descent Control to help maintain control and manage vehicle speed on steep slopes. These features are complemented by an independent front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, designed to balance stability, handling, and passenger comfort across different road conditions.

2027 Nissan X-Trail Trims in Saudi Arabia

The new 2027 Nissan X-Trail is available in Saudi Arabia in four trims: S, SV, SL, and Rock Creek, through Nissan's authorized dealers across the Kingdom.

The launch of the 2027 Nissan X-Trail reflects the brand's commitment to offering a diverse range of vehicles that meet customers' needs across the region, while maintaining its focus on Saudi Arabia as one of Nissan's key markets.
