Samara Land Transportation Services Co., subsidiary of Alturki Holding, has announced a strategic partnership with Raya Holding to establish a fully integrated factory for assembling electric golf carts. This joint project reflects the combination of Samara’s strong local market presence and deep understanding of the Saudi market, with Raya’s manufacturing and investment expertise, through its specialized electric mobility platform in collaboration with its subsidiary, Raya Auto.

Project Objectives and Key Focus Areas

The joint venture will focus on setting up a local assembly plant for electric golf carts, alongside providing a comprehensive after-sales service ecosystem. It will also aim to train and develop human resources to support the hospitality, tourism, construction, and urban development sectors.

Driven by the growing demand for sustainable and efficient mobility solutions in major projects, this partnership will promote the localization of manufacturing and assembly operations, create new job opportunities, and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and advanced technologies, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification goals. The project targets the production of more than 3,000 electric golf carts over the next two years.
