Several automakers started to think outside the box and steer off developing normal cars and started investing in vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, furthermore, Suzuki is one of the main companies that stepped forward and issued its clear intentions regarding flying cars, and just recently, Suzuki announced its partnership with SkyDrive Inc.
The two companies are still coy about the details of this partnership, but they were very clear about focusing on Indian markets, as Suzuki leads half of the markets there and will invest a billion dollars to build electric vehicles and batteries there.
SkyDrive is currently working on developing a two-seater eVTOL, and it’s looking at cranking up the full-series production so that the flying car services reach Osaka in 2025, but until this moment, there is no evidence that Suzuki will be working on this vehicle too.
