Mazda is now offering you the chance to go to its main website and choose the option “Build yours” to create the Mazda Miata MX-5 of your dreams, not only that but it’s considered a great option for a small sports car if you’re looking for one.
And as we mentioned before, the 2022 Miata MX-5 got small tweaks on its exterior and powertrain, and it is now available in 3 different trims (Sport, Club, Grand Touring).
And below, we will preview what we saw on the “Build yours” section on Mazda’s website.
The Engine
Mazda didn’t offer much in this section, but this is what you can have:
- RWD
- Gasoline-powered
- Automatic or manual transmission (depending on the chosen trim)
Exterior Colors
- Soul Red Crystal Metallic
- Machine Gray Metallic
- Snowflake White Pearl Mica
- Polymetal Gray Metallic
- Jet Black Mica
- Deep Crystal Blue Mica
- Platinum Quartz Metallic (New color)
Seats Upholstery
- Terracotta Nappa Leather (New)
- Black Cloth with Light Gray Stitching
- Black Cloth
- Black Leather
And you can get doorsill trim plates with the lettering MX-5 when paying 150 extra dollars (562,79 SAR).
Packages
You can also buy the Brembo/BBS Recaro Package for 4,500 USD and get the following:
- Recaro seats
- Side sill extensions
- BBS forged 17-inch wheels
- Brembo brakes with red calipers
