The Passat was not Volkswagen's lucky charm with its sales record, but it’s not leaving the automotive world yet, as we have seen some spy shots of the latest generation in a test drive recently.
It is worth noting that this will be the last Passat version working an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine), and later on we might see a different engine options from gasoline to plug-in-hybrid.
What we are seeing in these pictures is just a test mule, even though it’s not camouflaged, the production version might not look exactly like that, but we do know for sure that won’t be a sedan, as we can see a big storage area in the back that made the car look longer. We’re all hoping for an Alltrack version with better ground clearance and a sharper appearance.

The views about this mule’s design varied, but for the most they stated that the wheels were the most attractive element.
The 2024 Volkswagen Passat will be using the same platform as the Skoda Superb, and it will arrive at the European markets after the official unveiling in 2023.
