BSTC Performance has unveiled a tuned Mercedes AMG GT R with a range of visual and mechanical upgrades. The tuned sports car is more powerful than the flagship AMG GT Black Series, with 903 horsepower, and it outperforms many modern supercars.
Tuned Design
BSTC Performance is a company that specializes in used Mercedes parts, therefore, BSTC company has upgraded the GT R with original components from the GT R Pro and the facelifted GT range, and these upgrades include the following:
- New LED headlights and taillights
- Redesigned front bumper with carbon-fiber canards
- Sportier side sills
- Rear bumper with vents
- Carbon fiber diffuser expanding towards the sides
- Fixed rear wing
- The AMG Performance forged rims are also from the AMG GT R Pro
Powerful Performance
The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 has been upgraded with a new pair of Weistec Engineering turbochargers, Wagner air coolers, an IPE downpipe with a 200-cell sport converter, and an ARMA carbon-fiber intake, and tweaked ECU software in order to unlock its full potential.
As a result, power output has been raised from 577 horsepower to 903 horsepower, making it more powerful than any OEM AMG GT model, including the Black Series.
Finally, as for the power, it's sent to the rear axle through the AMG Speedshift seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that has been upgraded to cope with the increased power.
