Last December, the chinese automaker, SERES, unveiled its new Aito M5, which is a result of its hard work mixed with Huawei’s fancy techs, so now we have a brand new PHEV with splash of Huawei’s intelligence, and it’s time for it to make an appearance at the chinese market.
And here we have the latest updates announced by the company about the Aito M5:
Performance
- The entry-level (RWD) is equipped with a single electric motor, as for the other trims (AWD), they’re equipped with dual electric motors
- All trims will come with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, not only that but the car can travel up to 684 Km when the battery is fully charged and the gas tank is full
Exterior
According to reports by car specialized websites, the Aito M5 looks similar to Seres SF5 EV in terms of the LED headlights and the hood, but the distinction appears in the all-aluminum chassis, the redesigned front bumper, and the larger intakes.

Popular opinions state that the Aito M5 bears a resemblance to the famous Porsche Macan from certain angles. The Aito M5 measures at:
