The Japanese automaker Subaru has announced some upcoming upgrades this summer for its sedan “Subaru Legacy”, And while many other automakers stopped making sedans, Subaru lineup achieved what we always hoped for by maintaining its four-door sedan models. The new “Legacy” comes in with 6 trims this year such as: Basic, Premium, Sport, Limited, Limited XT and Touring which received additional improvements and a modest price increase.
The engine:
As it will be available with six different trim levels for 2022, obviously each one of them will have a different set of specifications while still providing a strong and powerful performance. Subaru Legacy will be equipped with 2 engines, the first one will be a 2.5 liter that generates 182 horsepower and a maximum torque of 176 Nm with an 8-speed transmission while the second one is a 2.4 liter that generates 260 horsepower and a torque of 277 Nm.
The exterior:
Legacy's new design has presented a more robust and stylish look than the previous models. The front features have sharp headlights that are separated by a wide front air vent and an edgy hood while the rear side of the car has an interesting and prominent style with oval tail lights, a sturdy wing and a hidden exhaust.
The interior:
Subaru Legacy’s interior has a more refined design that gets a 7-inch touchscreen, a-11.6-inch screen, 2 USB ports, wireless charging, “Harman kardon” audio system with 12 speakers, Bluetooth, navigation system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Safety features:
The car has a range of safety features that help manage the passenger’s expectations and protect them during their long journeys such as cruise control system, collision warning system, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, detecting driver drowsiness based on sensors in case they feel sleepy.
Price and date of release:
Subaru has announced that Subaru Legacy 2022 will be on the market in the next few months with a price that starts from 90.000 SAR. Also, it will compete with Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Hyundai Sonata.
