Saudi Muroor reveals new violations that will be monitored automatically

The General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) announced a set of traffic violations that will be monitored automatically effective from Sunday, June 4. In this article, we will highlight these traffic violations.

Saudi Muroor has indicated that the following violations will be automatically monitored: 

  • Driving along the sidewalk: 1000-2000 SAR
  • Driving on pedestrian paths of roads where driving is not allowed: 1000-2000 SAR
  • Failure to use the necessary lighting when driving at night or in weather conditions when visibility is not clear: 1000-2000 SAR
  • Failure of trucks and heavy equipment in complying with the right lane on the multi-lane road: 3000-6000 SAR
  • Ramp Metering: 150-300 SAR 
  • Driving vehicle with unclear or damaged number plates: 1000-2000 SAR
  • Parking the vehicle in places not designated for: 100-150 SAR
  • Failure of trucks and heavy equipment in complying with the right lane on the multi-lane road at unauthorized times: 1000-2000 SAR
  • Bypassing the station measuring the weights and dimensions of transport vehicles: 5000 SAR
