Round 1 Conclusion of Saudi Toyota 2024 Time Attack Championship in Jeddah

The first round of the 2024 Saudi Toyota Time Attack Championship concluded on Saturday at the Corniche Circuit parking lot in Jeddah. This event, preceded by a drivers' briefing, witnessed the official announcement of new categories in response to the substantial number of participants, exceeding 200 across both rounds (preceded by AutoCross), who completed their official registration on Thursday.

The categories were divided into 10 classes in addition to the Women's Cup, which added a great diversity to the competition. This allowed drivers of various levels and experiences to participate in the category that suited them, under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation.

The competitions witnessed significant challenges and outstanding performances from the drivers, with many participants expressing their happiness in participating in this championship. They praised the excellent organization and the high-quality arrangements provided by the federation, as some were able to achieve record times on the different race tracks.

The Acting CEO of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, Mr. Abdullah Al-Muhanna, congratulated the winners in each category. He noted that this championship is part of efforts to enhance motorsports in Saudi Arabia and to encourage participation in it

With sustained robust support for the championship, forthcoming rounds are expected to witness heightened levels of participation and competition. This trajectory is poised to elevate the level of motorsports in the Kingdom and lead to more achievements both locally and internationally.
