In its quest for an all-electric car lineup by 2023, Nissan has unveiled Juke 2022, a new model of the popular compact mini SUV that will be on the market during the summer of this year. First introduced in 2018, this second-generation Juke is powered by an electric powertrain developed by Nissan and Renault that is used in Renault Clio and Captur. According to reports by automotive news websites, the Nissan Juke 2022 would include a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.6 liters that produces 93 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque, as well as an electric motor with 48 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque.
As for the exterior design, the redesigned grille features the new Nissan logo, and the Hood has been redesigned in a new way to improve the aerodynamics of the car, in addition to the inclusion of 17-inch sports wheels.
Nissan did not reveal any details about the interior of the car, but it did state that it would include a new 7-inch infotainment screen, as well as greater storage space.
The Juke Hybrid is yet to be priced, but we expect it to be more expensive than the ICE-powered version. Nissan is expected to reveal pricing before the car's formal introduction this summer.
