As winter draws to a close, we witness numerous winter testing being performed for many versions offered by various brands, Mini Countryman has lately surfaced during the conduct of these tests in the cold northern regions of Scandinavia. A number of photographers were able to capture spy photos of the next generation of the Mini Countryman, showing the new car with a camouflage cover that hides most of the exterior design features, but the sunlight reflected on this cover allowed us all to distinguish some of the design details that Mini gave to the next generation of Countryman. Although the front and back features are still hidden by camouflage, the basic design is apparent,with a large grille surrounded by circular headlights.
It is worth noting that the new generation of the Mini Cooper Country Man shares the FAAR platform with all of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the next X1, where according to some sources, the competent Automotive News that the new version of the Mini may be longer by about 20 cm, providing more space for passengers as well as increasing the background storage capacity.
According to many rumors, the next Mini would have all-wheel drive and a hybrid version of the 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor that produces up to 322 hp.
As there is still time to reveal further specifics about the forthcoming release, the next Mini Countryman is expected to be released in late 2023 or early 2024.
