Jiad Modern Motors, a Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Company and the official dealer for MG models in Saudi Arabia, has launched the new MG 7 sedan in KSA, which will represent a major expansion of the British brands’ line-up.
The MG 7 radiates elegance with its eye-catching design, cutting-edge technology, and performance-driven features. It’s equipped with either 1.5L or 2.0L turbocharged petrol engines, and it promises an exhilarating driving experience. The all-new MG 7 will be available in Saudi Arabia starting from May 2024.
Jiad Modern Motors unveiled the new MG 7 during a distinguished ceremony held at Laylati Hall in Jeddah. It was led by Managing Director Eng. Ihab Elfeky, and attended by senior executives of Jiad Modern Motors, distinguished businessmen, local media representatives, and social media influencers.
The new MG 7 price starts from 89,900 SAR (including VAT), and customers will get a generous 6-year/200,000km manufacturers’ warranty, to provide an exceptional peace of mind for them.
The MG 7 is MG’s first-ever large sedan, which is engineered for precision and elegance. It has a streamlined aerodynamic design to highlight its presence on the road, there’s also some 19-inch wheels that enhance the vehicle's dynamic look.
The striking design elements continue in the cabin where passengers will sit on integrated motorsport seats, carefully designed for ergonomic support. The top trim features seats upholstered with Nappa leather, microfiber suede, and European textured piping. The driver's seat is 6-way electrically adjustable for personalized comfort and ease of maneuver.
MG 7 features some elements that will elevate the experience behind the wheel, such as super sport mode button on the steering wheel, a 10.25-inch instrument screen, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. The top trim is equipped with a premium Bose sound system with 14 speakers.
In addition to the technological features, the MG 7 offers a variety of active safety features like Front Collision Warning, Emergency Lane Keep System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The 1.5L turbocharged MG 7 is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, offering 185 horsepower. It will be available in DEL and STD trims, and the STD trim is fitted with a PVC foaming steering wheel and rear cameras, while the DEL trim has a leather steering wheel and a 360-degree camera, as well as a panoramic sunroof, which can be adjusted with the smart key.
As for the 2 liter turbocharged variant, it comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and 261 horsepower. The LUX trim has a panoramic sunroof, an operable smart key with the added convenience of an electric tailgate, and an active retractable tail wing to enhance its sporty appearance.
