Evidence is growing about Mazda's latest decision to end the use of rear-wheel drive system and the I-6 engine in its popular Mazda 6 versions. Mazda has already discontinued the rear-wheel-drive Mazda 6 in America, as rumors have long swirled about whether Mazda is seeking to develop and launch future versions of the Mazda 6, but the Mazda CEO has made a statement that completely destroys most of the doubts about an upcoming Mazda 6.
According to the Mazda CEO's remark, Mazda is presently developing and producing more SUVs and does not focus on rear or front-wheel-drive cars, or even coupes, due to market demands today, in addition to SUVs being regarded as the greatest cars in terms of sales in recent years.
Mazda is developing a strategy to dominate global markets with SUVs, rear-wheel-drive platforms, and new engines.
Mazda is using a new architecture to build its automobiles, based on the new FR architecture, which contains a big number of SUVs.
