After announcing that Lincoln would introduce 4 electric vehicles by 2030, a new report from Reuters confirms that a full lineup of electric SUVs will be launched far sooner, with at least 5 EVs by 2026. This plan includes the first electric Lincoln car that is set to arrive this year as part of the company’s goal to accelerate its transition toward an all-electric future.
It was also reported that Lincoln's electric vehicles will replace the company's flagship models such as the Lincoln Corsair and Navigator, as well as the Aviator and Lincoln Nautilus. Furthermore, Lincoln mentioned that the electric counterpart to the full-size Navigator will be built based on the Ford F-150 Lightning truck.
According to widespread websites, the first electric Lincoln will be a large crossover similar to the Aviator and possibly be called “Mark E”. It is likely to begin production in late 2024 or early 2025 at Oakville plant.
