The competitions for the third and final round of the Saudi Toyota Drifting and Autocross Championships 2025 concluded on Saturday evening in Al-Ahsa Governorate.

This marked an impressive finale to an exceptional season characterised by excitement, high competitiveness, and sustained support for national talents.

The event was organised by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), supported by the Ministry of Sport, and in collaboration with the official motorsport partner Jameel Motorsport and the Saudi Racing Organisers Club.

Lexus Team Reinforces its Leadership in Motorsports

The final round saw the participation of 53 male and female competitors across 10 main categories, in addition to a dedicated category for women. This sporting demonstration combined precision, speed, and artistry, proving that motorsports in the Kingdom is no longer just a hobby, but an integrated national system managed professionally, contributing to the development of a competitive sporting generation both regionally and internationally.

Remarkable Season Finish for Lexus Racing Team

Amidst intense competition, the Lexus Racing Team delivered an outstanding performance, with four of its drivers successfully achieving top positions in various categories, cementing the team's status as one of the leading national forces in motorsports:

  • Captain Abdullah Al-Khureiji secured second place in the G5 category, continuing his strong run of results after achieving second place in Riyadh and third in Jeddah. He ends the season with a competitive record that reflects his level of professionalism.
  • Captain Ali Al-Khudair took second place in the G3 category, demonstrating his consistent performance and ability to compete in multiple classes.
  • Captain Mohammed Abdulghafoor added his name to the list of honorees by claiming third place in the G4 Plus category, completing the team's quartet of podium finishes.
  • Captain Masha'el Al-Howaish continued her distinguished female performance by achieving second place in the Women's category, finishing the season in second place overall for the class, following her victory in the second round in Jeddah.

The team members competed aboard Lexus sports cars, which proved their high efficiency in the Al-Ahsa race, thanks to their dynamic design, high stability, and precise responsiveness, making them an ideal choice for autocross races that demand extreme steering and acceleration precision.

As the 2026 season approaches, the Lexus Racing Team looks forward to continuing its journey by developing its drivers' performance, adopting the latest equipment technologies, and supporting broader participation of Saudi youth, ensuring its name remains associated with leadership, professionalism, and national achievement in motorsports.
