Kia has finally taken the covers off the all-new Kia Carens 2022 after a series of exciting teaser sketches creating a new era of Kia’s history. The new Kia car holds a unique touch that reflects all the cutting-edge features of the modern world which align with the company’s goal to leave a special mark in defining future SUVs. It aims to offer inspiring contemporary designs by prioritizing the comfort of the driver and passengers.
The Kia Carens 2022 is based on a version of the Seltos platform with many modern aesthetics that embody the definition of true luxury. The new SUV is recognized by its edgy lines that fit harmoniously with the latest design philosophy ‘Opposites United’. On the other hand, it comes with 16-inch wheels, a large airflow vent, front and rear LED lights.
The cabin was designed with distinctive features to deliver a maximum versatility that helps to reinforce the car’s personality as a capable family adventure vehicle, such as:

The New Kia Carens 2022 is offered with 3 engine options:
- A 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates a maximum of 115 HP and 144 Nm of torque.
- A 1.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates a maximum of 140 HP and 242 Nm of torque.
- A 1.5-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine that generates a maximum of 115 HP and 250 Nm of torque.
According to auto news sites, Carens is a front-wheel-drive vehicle that will be provided with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual automatic transmission. Lastly, Kia indicated that Kia Carens will be launched in global markets in early 2022.
