Jeep’s First 2023 EV Unveiled at Stellantis Global Event

As part of a special event on the Stellantis Group's electric strategy and its many brands, Jeep, a part of the Stellantis Group, revealed its plans to debut a fully electric SUV with four-wheel drive in the first quarter of the next year 2023.

Jeep hasn't given its first electric car a name or revealed details about its engines, performance, and designs specs, but it has announced that it will be released in the first quarter of 2023.

During a presentation of the automaker's Dare Forward 2030 business plan on Tuesday, Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares showed out images of the upcoming SUV from Jeep.

"The small Jeep EV is a first of a number of battery-electric vehicle launches by Jeep that will cover every SUV segment by 2025," Tavares said.

Stellantis has also announced a Ram ProMaster EV coming later in 2023, with the electric Ram 1500 pickup due in 2024.

Stellantis also announced that by 2023, it expects to offer 75 BEV electric cars across all marques by 2030, including three Jeeps in the next two years, in order to reach global annual BEV sales of 5 million.
