Jaguar may stop unveiling new editions until 2025! Here’s Why

Jaguar is taking a break from introducing new editions to international markets, and that will be from now until 2025, in order to focus all of its efforts on developing and enhancing a totally new range of electric vehicles, reports France’s Le Monde.

All based on what the Jaguar Land Rover CEO Thierry Bollore made, which is a shocking announcement that Jaguar's full lineup will consist exclusively of electric vehicles as soon as 2025.

In addition to that, Le Monde reports that no factories will be closed in that time, but the workforce may have to be shrunk.

The automaker’s “Reimagine” strategy, announced earlier this year, will see Jaguar go upmarket in the electric sector and compete with strong and bold cars such as Bentley, Aston Martin, and others.

Jaguar's new all-electric lineup will consist of two crossovers and a two-door coupe. The least expensive car offered will start nearly at $133,000 which is 498,943 SAR, where all will be offered with “modern luxury.”

And the Key to repositioning will be the development of an exclusive battery-electric platform for Jaguar.

It’s worth mentioning, Jaguar's EV platform will be separate from Land Rover, because Land Rover will have two platforms of its own, both of them designed to support (hybrid and battery-electric vehicles), one of them is the MLA platform, which made its debut in the 2022 Range Rover.
