After a lengthy wait, Ford spokesperson revealed the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning EV battery specs to CAR AND DRIVER, not to mention that Ford is offering the customers two lithium-ion battery options, and they are as follows:
- Standard Range pack: 98-kWh with a 370 KM range
- Extended Range pack: 131-kWh with a 482 KM range

And this is what prompted everyone to compare the GMC Hummer EV with the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning EV , for the Hummer EV is equipped with a 200-kWh Ultium battery with a range of 563 KM. We can all imagine how fierce this competition will be.
The spokesperson also stated that more details will be revealed next month including the price, and potential customers can place their orders. Moreover, the price of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning EV will most likely start at 42,000 USD (157,681 SAR).
