Hongqi, a Chinese automaker, has just launched the Hongqi LS7, a premium ICE-powered SUV with a large footprint and a luxurious interior.
The car was supposed to be unveiled during the Beijing Auto Show, but due to the postponement, Hongqi revealed it online.
Hongqi LS7 uses a 4-liter V8 engine turbocharged, which delivers 360 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, where the maximum speed is 200 km / h.
ِAs for Hongqi LS7 exterior design, this large SUV has a size superior to its segment, and some design features are similar to Rolls-Royce cars, since Giles Taylor, Hongqi's design supervisor, was the former design director of Rolls-Royce; the Hongqi LS7 SUV looks similar to that super-luxury Rolls-Royce.
Hongqi LS7 exterior upgraded specs include:
- Large grille with vertical spokes
- all-LED headlamps that run horizontally
- The red stripe in the center of the grille w the red flag of the Hong Ky brand's significance
- LED taillights
- Side steps that fold up and down automatically
- Extra-large wheels
The Hongqi LS7 dimensions are:
- Length is 5,695 mm
- Width is 2,095 mm
- Height 1,985 mm
- The wheelbase is 3,309 mm
In fact, the Hongqi LS7 is longer than the BMW X7, Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and even Bentley Bentayga. Only long-wheelbase versions of large American SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade ESV (5,765 mm) are marginally better than the LS7.
As for Hongqi LS7 interior, it came with a spacious cabin, and the steering wheel of the LS7 also seems to be inspired by Rolls-Royce. The dashboard, center console, and automobile door are made of the fancy mahogany wood-clad, these updates make a focal point in the interior. Furthermore, It is combined with gold accents and leather upholstery for a luxurious atmosphere
The Hongqi LS7 also owns many modern systems, which include an Automatic climate control system, a digital clock, and separate screens for passengers in the rear seats. Passengers also have their own heated and cooled seats and massage function. Between the two rear seats is a control panel for the infotainment system and other comfort features.
What about the prices? the price of the Hongqi LS7 starts at 235,000 US dollars, equivalent to 881,213 Saudi riyals, Hongqi company also plans to launch the Hongqi LS7 for sale in the Chinese market starting from the third quarter of 2022.
