It has been reported by US agencies that Ford plans to showcase the Ford F150 Lightning at NASCAR for the first time, making it the first electric pickup to pace in the NASCAR race. As a result, it will help the company to set new records in global racing competitions.
According to some widespread reports, F-150 Lightning will be the official car at NASCAR's upcoming event at Martinsville Speedway that will start on the weekend. Ford also mentioned that the event will be televised across the country.
Meanwhile, the company promised its customers that the first F-150 Lightning electric pickups will be delivered this spring of 2022. In that context, Ford has received more than 200,000 reservations for the car since it was first debuted in May 2021.
