We have been amazed by many surprises since the opening of the official car dealership of the Chinese company “Changan” in Saudi Arabia. Several images on various websites revealed its most recent car which is called “Changan Alsvin 2022”. The car is fuel efficient, practical and subtle for everyday use and is equipped with many new features and improvements that make it one of a kind.
Under the hood, the car gets a 1.5 liter inline 4-cylinder engine that generates 105 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Also, it is equipped with front-wheel drive and a fuel economy of 14.4 KM/L.
Changan Alsvin is distinguished by the butterfly wing grill with its shimmering daytime running lights that were designed at the bottom of the fascia to add a modern touch as well as increase the road visibility for other drivers during the day. In addition to this, we can notice the turn signal glass repeaters that blend seamlessly with the sleek design for better visibility.
And another striking feature for the exterior is the simple yet powerful 14-15-inch alloy wheels, which features the distinctive Changan logo in the center. The streamlined tail lights cover the rear side of the car. Moreover, it has an electronic control trunk to make the process of carrying and storing items in and out of the car much easier.
In the interior, we see thick and comfortable seats made of soft leather that are supported by headrests and armrests on the sides to provide maximum comfort for passengers. Also, there are a lot of cup holders and storage pockets in various parts of the car. Bluetooth, audios and blind spot camera can be controlled by the buttons on the flat bottom steering wheel which has been designed in this way to give more space in the car. The cabin features a 7-inch touchscreen on the dashboard and an elegant sunroof that gives the cabin a sense of radiance and spaciousness.
Changan Alsvin has a length of 4.300 mm, a width of 1.725 mm, a height of 1.468 mm, and a wheelbase of up to 2.535 mm.
The car has a lot of standard safety features such as: 4 front airbags, rear sensors, tire pressure monitoring system(TPMS),"ISOFIX" seats that define standard attachment points to be manufactured into the car enabling compliant child safety seats to be quickly and safely secured. Furthermore, three rear passenger seat belts have been added.
Changan Alsvin 2022 has been launched in the Saudi market in several models including:
- Changan Alsvin Basic 2022 with a starting price of 32.900 SAR.
- Changan Alsvin full 2022 with a starting price of 36.900 SAR.
