CEER Announces Workforce Expansion at HCI Forum

During the Human Capability Initiative Forum, CEER, Saudi Arabia’s first EV brand and original equipment manufacturer, drew attention to its major achievement of reaching 1,500 employees, a key milestone in its mission to develop the Kingdom’s automotive industry.

This milestone reflects CEER’s strong commitment to building a world-class team by attracting the best local and global talent from diverse EV specialties. This also reinforces the company’s focus on human capital as a core engine for innovation and growth — a commitment CEER is proud to showcase as a strategic sponsor of the HCI Forum.

CEER has brought together a team of experts from 45 different and unique nationalities, which creates a highly skilled and diverse workforce and positions CEER as a leader in EV innovation & development.

Also, the company’s expansion plays a key role in strengthening the local economy, as the company plans to generate 6,500 direct jobs, as well as an additional 23,000 indirect and induced job opportunities.

James DeLuca, CEO of CEER, highlighted the importance of this milestone and emphasized the company's dedication to enhancing human capability, stating: “Reaching 1,500 employees is a powerful reflection of our commitment to building a world-class team as we shape the future of the EV industry. As a strategic sponsor of the Human Capability Initiative, we are proud to showcase our dedication to developing talent through our five strategic pillars: building a world-class team, partnering with government ministries, collaborating with academic institutions, leveraging global partnerships, and a values-driven culture that fosters innovation, collaboration, and integrity.

He continued, “Our diverse workforce and our efforts to empower Saudi talent are key to our long-term vision of driving innovation in the automotive sector and contributing to the Kingdom's transformation.”

Strategic Partnerships that Support Vision 2030

CEER’s commitment is further strengthened by strong government support, which includes collaborations with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry & Mineral Resources, and the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services.

There are other programs such as the National Automotive & Vehicles Academy (has enrolled 100 students initially), and the Waa'id Program which offers specialized training for 43 Saudi engineers and technicians. These partnerships are pivotal in advancing Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, cultivating local talent and developing the next generation of industry leaders.

CEER aims to shape the future of the automotive industry in Saudi Arabia by creating a crucial university-to-industry pipeline. This can be achieved through strategic partnerships with the Saudi’s top universities and technical colleges and collaborations with global partners.

CEER's strategic focus on enhancing human capability, paired with a strong emphasis on fostering innovation, positions the company at the forefront of technological advancements in the EV industry, and it supports the Kingdom's objectives of economic diversification and sustainability.
