Bugatti is recalling the Chiron Pur Sport for having some drawbacks, and according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a defect was discovered in the design of the tires that led to its explosion, as the cracks start to appear after driving it for a distance up to 4000 km.
The first incident occurred in the US, after that, the company made sure to recall the nine cars located there first, and then made an announcement to the rest of the 60 owners around the world.
The company has not yet developed the new tires, but it will replace the rear tires every 3000 km or every 1.5 years for now. Bugatti asks the owners to not drive the car after exceeding 4,000 km until they get a replacement, and once the company finishes developing the new tires, they will be replaced free of charge.
