The famous Audi E-Tron began to form a fierce competition with Tesla since it was first launched in 2019, and it became the number one competitor against Tesla models, for it came in fifth place in the most searched EVs on Google right after Tesla models, which occupied the first four places.
In a test drive recently, an E-Tron and E-Tron Sportback prototypes were spotted, and they’re a part of Audi’s EV collection which are still in the development phase, moreover, we expect to see their 2023 models later in 2022 or in early 2023.
The spy shots of the E-Tron Sportback show some change in the design elements such as:
- New headlights
- New grille similar to the one in E-Tron Q4 2022
- A sleek body style
- New internal graphic for the taillights
The photographers couldn’t get to the car and see what’s inside, but according to them, the infotainment looks bigger, hence the speculations are now orbiting around the cabin getting one big screen for both the infotainment and instrument cluster.
The Audi E-Tron performance saw some mechanical upgrades in the last few years, so we expect it to maintain its position in front of its competitors, and that's why rumors say that the latest models will receive some new batteries, more powerful electric motors, along with a new electronic control software to boost the range up to 480 Km.
