Alpine exposed its stunning Alpine A4810 concept with a fascinating vision of the zero-emission sports cars that the French manufacturer could build in 2035.
This new concept is described as the "Alpine super-Berlinetta" sports car concept, which was built by 28 students from the Istituto Europeo di Design Turin's Masters in Transportation Design program. They have collaborated with Alpine to design the hydrogen-powered A4810 supercar concept.
Alpine briefed them in the fall of 2021 to create a concept that "simultaneously embraces the latest generation technologies" while promoting the brand's future characteristics. Recently, those students collaborated with Suzuki, Hyundai, and Pininfarina to build other concepts.
The very wild, futuristic hypercar design, the Alpine A4810 is notable for its adoption of a hydrogen-fuelled drivetrain - a first for the Renault-owned performance brand. Its developers have not indicated whether it will be a conventional fuel cell electric setup or a hydrogen-combustion system.
Interestingly, parent firm Renault recently unveiled a separate concept crossover with a "hydrogen engine," indicating that the French business could follow Toyota in employing hydrogen to preserve existing combustion technology.
Technical specs & performance capabilities of the A4810 have yet to be released, but the company says the hypercar will be "light, yet powerful and agile on the road", with a focus on providing "pure driving pleasure" - characteristics familiar from the A110.
The expected dimensions of the A4810 will be as follows:
- Length 5,091 mm
- Height 1,055 mm
- Width 2,010 mm
These dimensions make A4810 significantly larger in all directions than the A110, with a simple and futuristic design, where headlights incorporate into the tip of the nose but are invisible when not illuminated, fenders rise above the rest of the nose and a tail that has a W-shape. There are vertical taillights on each edge and dual exhaust outlets in the center.
As for the cabin, it includes multi-section sporty seats, a steering wheel juts out far from the dashboard, with digital displays on each side of the wheel show what's happening behind the vehicle, and red accents adorning the cabin.
We will notify you as soon as the French company Alpine completely unveils its A4810 hypercar new concept for 2035.
