Many buyers tend to buy used cars rather than new ones, since the certified pre-owned car programs are considerably terrific, despite the fact that prices of used cars have skyrocketed to the point where used cars are being sold for more than their price when new. Still, many buyers prefer buying them, due to that; Honda and Acura announced the expansion of their respective certified pre-owned programs to cover vehicles up to 10 years of age.
The automaker, Acura, has a new offer which is: Acura Precision Used, and it includes a limited warranty lasting six months or 7,500 miles (12,070 Kilometers), Buyers also get a 7-day/300-mile exchange policy. In addition to a complimentary oil change, roadside assistance for up to 12 months or 12,000 miles (19,312 Kilometer), Acura Precision Used offers also include:
- Trip-interruption expense reimbursement
- Concierge services
- A three-month trial of SiriusXM
As for Honda's offer, which is known as HondaTrue Used, it's similar to Acura Precision Used offers features but only differs in the limited warranty which is only 100 days or 5,000 miles (8,046 kilometers). Also, the Honda offer only comes with a 3-day/300-mile exchange policy.
Notably, all Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are subjected to a rigorous 112-point inspection by a Honda specialist, as well as a downloadable checklist describing the vehicle's maintenance requirements.
