About 120 Corvettes were damaged beyond repair last week after a violent tornado hit the Bowling Green assembly plant at Kentucky where Chevrolet Corvette C8 units are manufactured. Additionally, new reports indicated that these recent tornadoes were the most destructive in Kentucky history.
It was also claimed that this outbreak killed more than 70 people and caused over $8.2 million in damage. And according to widespread reports, the high winds caused by the tornado triggered a fire in the factory which was the main cause of the massive losses.

Moreover, it was reported that General Motors Company might need about a week of repairs in order to restart production and get back on track. The company said that its industrial manufacturing buildings in Bowling Green, KY were seriously collapsed by this devastating tornado.
