The Sportage lineup is expanding over time and the 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV joined the crew, and it is supposed to be the most efficient Sportage variant so far.
Sales will lead off in the USA with many engine variants to choose from; a 2.5-liter V4 or a 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid engine. Moreover, a 1.6-liter V4 turbocharged engine connected to a 66.9 kW electric motor and a lithium-polymer battery, alongside a 6-speed automatic transmission, and we expect this engine to deliver 260 hp.

Kia made sure to equip this car with everything the driver owner will need, so a Level 2, 7.2 kW charger was necessary, it can charge the battery in almost 2 hours to give it the ability to travel up to 51 KM using electric power only, but we can’t be so sure of that number until the EPA numbers are out.
