Toyota has revealed the new bronze edition that will only be available for the SUV hybrid Highlander 2022. It should be noted that this car is well known for its long history, dating back to the launch of its first generation in 2001 and continuing to the present day. The new edition gives us a glimpse of the upcoming Highlander lineup.
The new 2022 Highlander boasts a bronze look and an appealing design that adds a modern twist to this stylish model. Improvements to the interior and exterior have also been made, giving the car a more robust, modern, and functional design that makes it a perfect choice for maximum comfort, pleasure, and performance.
And according to widespread reports, the bronze edition relies on a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors (three for all-wheel-drive models) to generate 243 horsepower.
The electric motor will operate independently, assisting in the distribution of force on the rear wheels and thus generating more power.
The upgrades on this mid-size SUV are all cosmetic, including 18 inch wheels, shining bronze door sills and SofTex seats with bronze stitching that were inspired by mid-century designs along with floor mats that are adorned with a unique bronze logo. The radiant bronze color has been included in so many parts in the car as it combines classic and modern look, resulting in a radical transformation from simple and ordinary appearance to a design characterized by elegance, and classic luxury.
Highlander Bronze Edition comes with so many additional enhancements as we can see in the 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat, in-dash ambient lighting, DRLs daytime running lights, puddle lamps with Highlander logo, hands-free liftgate, digital rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers and a 1500-watt power outlet.
Toyota has not yet announced a starting price of the bronze edition of the Highlander yet however, some international newspapers have reported that the company has stated that the model falls between the Highlander Hybrid Limited, which starts at 160.16 Saudi Riyal, and the Highlander Hybrid XLE, which starts at 174.99 Saudi Riyal and it is likely to go on sale later this year.
